Hashim Amla rolls back the years with majestic double ton for English county

Proteas legend Hashim Amla has rolled back the years with a typically majestic knock of 215 for his Surrey side in their English County Championship match against Hampshire.

Amla, now 38-years-old, posted his seventh double century of his career.

Amla, who will return to South Africa to play for Western Province next season, faced 367 deliveries in his 491-minute stay at the crease before retiring injured.

His knock helped Surrey record a thumping innings and 259-run victory.

Amla retired from the international area after 124 Tests, 181 ODIs and 44 T20Is for the Proteas.
