Bafana Bafana legend shows off new R1 million-plus ride

In the latest instance, a former Bafana Bafana legend took to social media to show off his latest acquisition.
Cars such as the Range Rover and Mercedes G63 AMG have proven most popular particularly in Europe along football’s elite.

Closer to home, former Bafana Bafana star Shaun Bartlett is the latest owner of a luxury vehicle with the 48-year-old taking to his Instagram account this week to show off his new wheels – a Volkswagen Toureg.
According to the Volkswagen website, the Toureg comes in two variations, the Luxury and Executive line.

For those in the market for the Luxury model, the car is priced from R1 230 000 while the Executive model will set you back from R1 499 100 onwards.
And yes, very importantly, the boot is clearly big enough to fit a set of golf clubs!

Bartlett played 74 matches for Bafana Bafana between 1995 and 2005, scoring 28 goals.
He also played over 400 matches in his career for a number of teams, most notably Cape Town Spurs and Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa and Charlton Athletic in England.
Following retirement he was appointed as assistant manager at Golden Arrows, before moving on to the University of Pretoria, Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy.
