Nomcebo Zikode is living her dream on ‘Jerusalema’ world tour

Nomcebo Zikode, real name Nomcebo Nothule Nkwanyana, has been embracing the world tour with producer Master KG. The tour began in November 2020 and has several big destinations coming up in 2021.

The star, who recently signed an International deal with Sony, was all smiles on the West African shores of Ivory Coast a few days ago as she kicked off her new year in the city of Abidjan.

While in Ivory Coast she talked about the unexpected success of Jerusalema, her journey as an artist and more on air with Trace Radio. 

THE ‘JERUSALEMA’ WORLD TOUR

The world tour first visited Burkina Faso in West Africa in November 2020, and later moved to the island of Madagascar. The Rodrigues island is on the cards for February.

In February, the artists will also visit Port Louis in Mauritius, and in March they are set to visit N’Djamena in Chad, Central Africa, followed by Accra in Ghana. 

In June, the pair head off to the US from the 1 to 30 June; then Canada for the month of July. They will end off the tour in Europe with a visit to Italy in August and September.

Sharing the Jerusalema world tour schedule with her 258,000 followers, Zikode reflected on what a dream this had been.

“It’s OK to dream! Don’t ever let anyone take that away from you.”

JERUSALEMA’ HITS 300 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE

In other exciting news, the one-year-old global hit reached 300-million views on YouTube. 

Zikode announced this on her social media on 3 January:

Master KG also took to social media to share the good news, with South African A-listers such as Cassper Nyovest and DJ Maphorisa commenting on the accomplishment. 

MASTER KG’S SHARES HEARTFELT NEW YEAR POST 

Master KG acknowledged how great 2020 had been for him, with Jerusalema being his first global hit and even making it onto Christiano Ronaldo’s Instagram.

He expressed how grateful he is to God, his family and his fans over an Instagram post.
