Summer fun: The top five activities for kids in Johannesburg
The big December break is in full swing, but many South Africans are finding themselves stuck at home. Cancelled holidays, beach closures and renewed COVID-19 restrictions have put a damper on the 2020 holiday buzz.
Children have spent a great deal of time at home due to school closures. This, coupled with limited entertainment options for much of 2020, has meant many children and their parents are climbing the walls out of boredom and frustration by now.
The City of Gold has a variety of entertainment options for kids. Here are some exciting activities that won’t break the bank, and can offer a few hours of fun for kids and their parents.
Trampolining at Bounce
Bounce is a big indoor trampoline park that offers kids a complete adrenaline rush to burn off all their pent-up energy. When trampolining, kids experience the ultimate rush of extreme sports combined with freestyle gymnastics.
At Bounce it’s all about jumping high and landing softly and safely, whether kids are working on their aerial tricks, burning off some steam or just having fun. Branches are located at Waterfall Lifestyle Centre and Fourways Mall.
Online bookings offer a discount, with the promo code Magic2020, at checkout.
