Extremely high FDI’s expected over the central and southern parts of the Northern Cape, the Central Karoo of the Western Cape and the northern interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy along the escarpment and on the Highveld in the afternoon with isolated thunderstorms. It will be very hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in the southwest.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning coastal fog, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly becoming fresh southerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Mostly cloudy and cool along the coastal areas, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the northeast. Light rain is expected over the south-western parts in the afternoon, spreading to
the south coast by evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light westerly to north-westerly in the west but fresh to strong in the south and southwest. It will become fresh south-westerly from afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cool along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but hot in places over the northern interior. It will become cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong southwesterly at first, otherwise moderate to fresh.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but hot in places over interior. It will become cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be strong southwesterly, becoming moderate to fresh in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning mist over the interior, otherwise fine and hot but warm along the south coast. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
