With a tough run in to the end of the season, where they have dates against Mamelodi Sundowns, Supersport United and Kaizer Chiefs, the Limpopo outfit will be eyeing maximum points against their fellow strugglers.

According to coach Dylan Kerr, confidence is high in the Baroka camp, following the stalemate against the Buccaneers.

“We had a couple of opportunities. We’ve got a couple of free-kick specialists apparently, but they’re not scoring. They’re trying too hard. They don’t relax,” Kerr said.

“But obviously I’m happy with a point away at Orlando Pirates.

“I would have liked three but again it gives us a little bit more confidence and we are looking forward to a six-pointer with Chippa.”

For the Kerr’s counterpart at Chippa, Lehlohonolo Seema, the fixture is another opportunity to try for a first win at the helm of his new club.

The former Lesotho captain anticipates a tough match against Baroka.

“We know that we have a very difficult game against Baroka especially after their good performance against Orlando Pirates,” Seema said.

“We know that winning this game which won’t be easy will put us in a good position as we will move further away from the relegation zone.

“Our preparations are going well. The spirit is high in the camp after we collected a big point against Highlands Park. We are looking forward to Saturday.”
