Thembalitsha UK to participate in the 2.6 Challenge and they need your help

Whilst we are all hopeful many of these events will go ahead at a later date, many charities across the UK have been left struggling to maintain their services.

These charities need our support now more than ever. From those supporting children to the elderly, as well as those providing vital palliative care, mental health support, housing, food supplies and more, it’s never been more important to come together and show how much we care.

What is the Thembalitsha Foundation?

The Thembalitsha Foundation is a charity committed to addressing the socio-economic challenges of the poor, vulnerable and marginalised people of South Africa by developing them to the point of self-reliance through the provision of healthcare, education and training in order to restore new hope.

Many Thembalitsha projects have incurred significant additional costs as they prepare to provide services at this time. Once the government indicates they can continue providing services, they want to ensure they have all the needed supplies.

Face shields, infrared thermometers, gloves and so much more are required to ensure the safety of all their staff and beneficiaries.

With the above needs in mind, Thembalitsha UK has decided to participate in The 2.6 Challenge. Each TUK team member has taken up a 2.6 challenge and loaded a video on their social media in an effort to raise desperately needed funds for the work of Thembalitsha (South Africa). Visit their Facebook page to check out some of the videos.
